SWAG

Sustainable fruit production relies on the introduction of genetic resistance from wild to cultivated germplasm. For this purpose, we collected wild apricot populations presenting a high level of phenotypic diversity. SWAG aims at drawing a complete and comprehensive dataset of intra-specific polymorphisms among a set of 300 wild apricot and relative species, for population genomics of apricot domestication and additionally for Genome Wide Association with resistance to sharka in apricot.
